Proactive Energy is a new, visionary renewable energy company based in Scotland. We deliver environmentally friendly, innovative waste disposal solutions for industries that generate organic waste, with particular emphasis on the supermarket, food processing and agricultural sectors.

Construction will shortly commence on our £22.5 million, state of the art biogas plant in South Lanarkshire. Strategically located in the heart of Central Scotland the plant will anchor the M74 Eco-Park, Scotland’s first “green” commercial and industrial park.

From this highly accessible site we will service customers throughout Scotland and the north of England. When operations commence in early 2011 our environmentally friendly process will convert organic waste into electricity which in turn will be supplied to the National Grid.

In line with Government policy we will help customers reduce the amount of organic waste being sent to landfill and provide cost effective, ecologically sustainable, optimum waste solutions that fully comply with statutory guidelines.
